LITURGICAL CHURCH Our
Lutheran Church is a liturgical church. Hence, we use a Church
Calendar for the seasons. The Church Year begins with Advent (always
4 Sundays before Christmas) and ends 52 weeks later with the Feast of
Christ the King, the last Sunday after Pentecost. It is divided into
festival and non-festival halves. The fist half tells about our
Savior's life and ministry, while the second tells how we respond to God's
love and we grow in grace.
