Young Violinist - At St. Martin's for Worship

Fourteen-year-old violinist, Emily Hudock will join us for worship on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 9:30 a.m.  Later that same day, Emily will be featured at the Interfaith Choir Concert at Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Emily has won numerous awards and has appeared with many symphony orchestras in the Detroit Metro Area.  Emily and her family are members of Kensington Community Church where she participates in the Performing Arts School and often performs her violin in worship.

Emily and Wes will offer up the Sonata for Violin & Piano by Cesar Frank as an offering of praise to our God from whom all good things come.  The first two movements will be played as the Prelude.  The third movement will be presented before the day's readings and the final movement will become the day's Postlude.

Emily first appeared at St. Martin's at age five!  She has become, through God's grace and protection, a fine young Christian and a wonderful musician.  I'm sure you'll want to join Emily and her family for worship on Sunday, August 19!
